Been playing the multiplayer on Quantum of Solace recently. I put it in a couple times a few months ago, couldn't get a game and figured it was dead. I tried again recently and have been able to get games every time now. Somewhat tired of Halo and COD, so playing this.

It is kind of like taking Goldeneye or a classic Bond MP and combining it with COD. There is a mode where you customize weapon sets just like COD, but then there is also a classic mode where you start w a pistol and weapons are pickups on the map.

It's fun and it's not a bad game, not the best but not the worst. I'd give it a 7 or 8 overall.

I've been playing Minecraft. The alpha (paid 13$US) gamemode is a survival game mode. you spawn in a practically infinite world, and you have to make shelter and mine for resources (incl spelunking huge cave systems) that you can use to make tools and weapons to defend against monsters and hunt for food. the gameplay works like a positive feedback loop. now with survival multiplayer it's ridiculous. the developer maintains a blog and is constantly adding new stuff to the game. i love it

the free survival/build modes ("classic") are fun for a while but the crafting aspect of the alpha gameplay adds so much to the game. also the fact that the worlds are randomly generated and the art style complements it well keeps me going

also playing through the Mass Effect games again, trying to do everything this time to have a character to start the third game with.

huge time sinks, but it's good since i have fuck all to do

Uh! BioShock Infinite

You're playing a game that doesn't come out for two years ?! Are you from the future, and if so - What is the weather like, does WATMM still exist, are there any new flavours of mountain dew, and how much has England fucked up the coverage of the Olympics ?

Lots of love, Pete (from back in 2010)

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

Flying cars'n'shit, yo!

Battlefield Bad Company 2 (yeah, finally got it for my son's birthday). Still playing SSFIV as well, and trying to force myself to finish Dead Space on Impossible so I can wrap up getting the trophies.

So I finally beat Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days...so on top of MW2 (Prestige 9 level 32 (almost to my goal)), Deadly Premonition, I'm adding Resident Evil 5 to my list. Maybe Mario Galaxy 2 if I can borrow it from my friend.

My god I hadn't seen that slime since my NES days of Nintendo Power subcription + Dragon Warrior 1 bonus

No, he plays it - I just watch him. I'm more of a Super Street Fighter IV guy.
