Video Games What video games are you currently playing?

Beat Uncharted 2. Great game! I might play Assassin's Creed 2 next. I don't know, maybe I'll go for the platinum in Fallout 3.

restarted playing fallout 3, i don't remember why i stopped earlier..it's a great game if slightly repetitive, think i enjoy it even more than the first 2 fallouts, the atmosphere is great and it's full of details and character. i stumbled upon a shelter of some ghoul who had a plunger fetish, the whole room and the walls had plungers stuck in them and numerous mannequins holding plungers as well.

Anyone tried DeathSpank yet? From the creator of Monkey Island on PS3 and Xbox networks.

Downloading it anyway. Looks like a lot of fun. I was going to buy Mass Effect 2 this weekend, but I'm all over quirky downloadable games recently.

Or at least I would if the Xbox Market wasn't fucked today.

yes, he may mock in a quizikle tone now, but he'd get pretty quickly how wonderful it is being able to instantly (and accurately) aim at your target.

At this point I'm actually better with a controller than I am with mouse/keyboard.

COD: MW2 and Frozen Synapse on my mac.

Everyone should try Frozen Synapse if they like strategy. It can be so satisfying when you get all the enemies in your first move.

I just can't get past the name - sounds retarded.

It is a very retarded game. Unfortunately it isn't a lot like the Monkey Island games in it's puzzles. I've come across only a handful of puzzles, and none of them were tricky. It's more focussed on hack-slash. The voices and characters are cool, but it's just a Monkey Island game without the puzzles.

It's still very enjoyable for what it is though, and the leveling up and weapons upgrades will keep you entertained well into the story. There's a shitload of side-quests if you're a completist like me, but 90% of them are 'fetch this' types.

Good to know - they've got an expansion that will be out soon called "Thongs of Justice" if I remember correctly. The graphics look interesting, so I might give the demo a try.

Finally tried TF2 on the PC last week. It's like the video game equivalent of crack, I haven't stopped playing it. It's made me put all my unplayed console games on hold... again.

my gpu is in the process of being rma'ed so i'm using a shitty one for now. it will, however, run tf2. think it's time i picked it up again.

pyro or engie, but i was getting into sniper a bit last time i played

I like the sniper quite a lot. My main class is Scout though, I love being a massive annoyance to heavies and blowing them off cliffs with the Force a Nature. Got a lot of love the demo too though.

i can't play my son anymore; he's too good at sniper and it's too humiliating

No love for Starcraft II here? Only game I play right now, but I still pick up Dragon Age 2 now and then when in the mood for some stories.
