OT: The samples sound great! I'm looking forward to this album now. More funky, still dubby, still boxcutter.

Some of it sounds analord-ish, but i think it's a coincidence because there's a lot of analog sounds, and what's wrong with that?

I think they feel somewhat lost without Aphex Twin and kind of want to jump on his bandwagon of being ironically retro

Joshier may have said some weird inaccurate shit in his original post but it's also interesting that people deny and/or get very defensive about pointing out this phenomenon of extreme band wagony acid retroy electronic music.
