Cool, thanks for the tips. I've also read that slimes only spawn in certain chunks. Is this true? I've just realised that pistons that aren't sticky are quite uselles.

yeah there's granddaddy slime in the hotel mine's basement. Not to mention zombies and skeletons, too. Obel needs to go more torch-crazy

Ahhh, they've repopulated. Yeah I need to get back on the server and re jig stuff since they made torches less bright the deeper you go.

I'd say the hotel deserved its two-star rating in the Michelin guide - small but cozy quarters with excellent showers (no waiting for hot water, what a treat!), and a spacious foyer with waterfront access. Only downside was this green peeping tom who kept bouncing up and down outside my window...

If you go back there you should look over to the right to the cathedral on the hill - that's mine! I didn't realize we were neighbors until Franklin told me to increase my draw distance :)

Wasn't Megasuars mine good for slimes?

Is the adventure update just for singleplayer? If it isn't,Is it likely that we will restart the server when that comes out?

The question ive always wanted to ask actually is, if we keep expanding the map size, will there be a point where the server cant handle it?

Being new to the server I don't have much of a clue as to who's responsible for what. Thankfully Obel labelled some of his stuff. I was showing a friend the game and gave him a tour of the hotel and a mine a few days ago.

I died recently and my spawn was wiped out too, so I had a long trek back to my place. Stumbled over a few things, some finished, some abandoned? Didn't take many screenshots unfortunately. Gonna sign label and first brick date my stuff.

First pic is some outpost Pete made.

The second pic is Coolville 2. Pete and Murve did most of it. I have an unfinished tower out there, behind the trees in the center. Kaini has some lab thing out there.

The structure on the left of the second pic is all Pete though. And yes, the massive halls at the bottom of the megasaur caverns were good for slimes, last I checked. I have so many slimeballs from the time that slimes were overpopulating the world, so I'm good.

awesome but why does he not print creepers or similar. There was a headline on 3d printing online in a computer mac recently. I should try that

viscosity broke my fucking trap, so watch out for that bellend on the server. hes called cosiv, (clever cos its an anagram of the first 5 letters of his username. Yeh.)

The 1.8 update looks really sweet but I have a feeling once it comes out I'll play it for a day then forget about it.

Every update has been like that for me. The Steam Summer sales have definitely distracted me from minecraft, and that I'm on vacation.

i'm massively keen to start a new map (on the server) when 1.8 comes out.

Woo! I'd probably play then. I'd really appreciate it if Kokoon gave us a copy of our Coolville server though. I don't want to lose our stuff forever.
