i had a dream about meteor strikes in minecraft a few months ago..

i mentioned an idea i had before where lightning hitting sand could create glass fulgerites. i still think it's awesome.

I'd like it if fulgerites were completely unfunctional and would just be for decoration. If they were useful then my whole game would be about looking for fulgerites.

I just realised this. So I can just stand at the mobfarm for long while doing other stuff on the computer instead of hunting sheep all day long

but hunting sheep is so much more exciting

And when you are dying wool it is more efficient to dye sheep.

has anyone told notch how buggy the nether is on multiplayer in terms of location? I've had 3 glitches, the latest was show stopping. First time I logged out and logged back in and I had been moved vertically about 60 blocks. That was actually a blessing in disguise as I discovered some glowstone (though I had no pickaxe to dig my way back to civilization). Second time I died in the nether, got reincarnated back in reality at the spawn in coolville, but then it glitched out, transported me back to the nether right out of the middle of coolville, then crashed and when I tried to login told me "invalid login." Luckily after trying 5 or so more times, eventually it let me back in and I was in coolville, intact.

Latest incident is I was happily mining some glowstone, I disconnected, then reconnected and appeared here, an endless plain of bedrock:

I have no idea where I am, and it's not a chunk error. Every time I re-login, I restart here. Maybe I'm at the bottom of a lake of lava and it's not killing me? Dunno. Is there any way to kill myself through a console command?
