The only thing that is slightly annoying about the map we are on is that near the spawn we have to deal with some pre-update resource distributions in the older chunks.

 

That's a small issue at the moment because its only lapis and sandstone.

 

I dont think it's worth losing everything we've made to go to a map with a more interesting terrain. i'm sure we could find those places on our map anyway. We can have a rail network in the nether to a bunch of cool places. I still got do something with my big hole anyway (sounds rude)

there was also some kind of directional bias before 1.6 that caused chunks on one side of the spawn to have less diamond.

am I the only one who wants the addition of a bunch of interior decorating pieces? Like all sorts of moldings and baseboards and stuff? I would love an "upside down steps" that allows for arched tunnels, I'd also love corner pieces for steps, so that L shaped steps can be made.

oh, and colored glass. That's another big one. Wanna make stained glass windows.

i wish you could make half and angled pieces out of all materials. then we could make proper rolling hills and archways

Yea man definitely upside down steps to make arches and stone overhangs look nicer.

The pistons look really sweet but I'm not sure what I could do with them other than a door like he did.

it's unclear from the video whether they damage mobs or other players. I could see some epic mob grinders and traps...

you could use the pistons to make a moving wall inside your house. that would be awesome. Or a house that moves completely all the time

I'd love random meteor strikes in Minecraft. Like... really rare... but something to make you care for your property. I realise most people would hate this but I like the destructive elements.

If only they'd implement some sort of Ace of Spades style physics...

Oh now I remember already seeing this. Cute, one of those birds could really pop in the unmoded version. One that you could shoot down with an arrow and cook and eat.

i think i'm done with this game for a while. I'm really bad at it. It's time to switch over to one of my only two other video game obsessions. That's right.
