Ok so I can't figure this out. Once in a while when I'm moving around my screen looks like it's going into hyperdrive for a brief second. It's trippin me out what is it?

i want them to fix the problem where my friends cant play cuz theyre on a mac and 1.8 givs them a black screen when they try to get into a server

well now what do i do with it?

when it's just me and adam it's ok. when a third person joins it lags to shit.

im on a mac and im fine, my issues sorted when i re-dled minecraft. get them to re-dl minecraft.

ya they tried everything, it only works with certain versions of the OS, something to do with openGL

still not working for some of us, kokoon. can log in OK but there is almost 0 FPS. what's going on here?

it's weirder than that - when some players login, it makes it lag for EVERYONE.

i was initially thinking that the server needed more RAM allocated, but if that was the problem then it wouldn't be specific to certain players. it's fucking weird.

spacewrekker, I think when those two creepers blew up it and killed both of us in sequence it created some sort of bug, because we were picking up each other's stuff back-to-back then being killed. At least that's my theory and I'm sticking to it, lol.

sorry i'm posting 3 times in a row, but i thought i should take a screen of my F3:

i don't know if this helps or what. when i first log in everything is normal, but then i basically get between 0 and 16 FPS after about 10 seconds of being in the server. singleplayer and half-life 1 and 2 work fine, and there are no other processes running in the background. my computer is not over-heated (49C stand-still, mid 70's in-game), i just did a software update, and i re-downloaded the minecraft beta.

what the dealio...?

try updating java? or a newer version of lwgjl than the one that comes with MC? (place it in the /bin subdir of MC)

also, if you have parallels, try running it under windows?
