Do we need to get re-whitelisted or should I be good?

Also, what texture pack is that for the glass house. Doku ain't updated for 1.8 and I mad.

Maybe. Me and lumpenprol both died outside Murve's. I got half way across the sea from Adam's island (spawned at spacewrekker's, nether bit of the trip was fine) when lag kicked in and crashed my client. I log back in and I'm on the roof of AcrossCanyon's building?!? Managed to get to Murve's roof just fine, then it went wild again. I've been stuck there since.

 

nope, again if it was the XP orbs, everyone would have the same problem. until they're picked up they don't 'belong' to anyone.

Actualy I'm almost sure its this. I was lagging horribly last morning and saw loads of exp orbs near murve's house. Later I died and when I respawned in my house the lag was gone. I went to take my items and near murve's house it started lagging again. And all the people who cant play because of the lag seem to be not far from murve's house. So I guess this problem is only when someone is near those exp orbs. This can't be coincidence.

Also to the people who think that this map is shit, have you been to spacewrekker's island? kokoons island? there's loads of them and some of them are really big. Just get your asses out of assrape and start exploring.

that makes sense. i was okay yesterday when i went on and spawned on thunder but when i went back over to mine (very close to murve) i started getting horrible (next to no) fps. i've had horrible luck with bugs since 1.8 was produced, and this one is a game breaker. guess i have to wait for the next update to play again. :/

yep, we tested it. as soon as adam went near murve's it started lagging to shit.

couch: that's sphax pureBDcraft 128. but i've stopped using it cos it causes memory crashes and i'm too lazy to up the java VM's memory limit.

if we get the x/y co-ords of murve's we could delete the chunk (sorry murve :( )

couldn't we roll back to before that happened?

was spacewrekker near murve's yesterday??? he was lagging us like crazy but his domain is way out near mine in the mountains far from murves.

seriously? wtf! i'm in a small house with a yellow cotton floor - is that murve's? i'll need to kill myself somehow and respawn at todger's...........

yeah adam took me on a trip yesterday - i knew i should have stayed on my island and finished the ladder room!

use the /kill command. it's def in that area the problem is. I got away (after a long ass time) and I'm okay now. we might have to nuke that part of assrape. :(

well well well. today is a beautiful day in minecraft! i'm at the same location as before but this time with no lag! it was the experience orbs.......

yep, all is good in watmmcraft.

I did a /kill, now I'm back home and everything is ok.

hell yea, I haven't played online since before May so pics of any new cool shit would be awesome.

I've invested a lot of time into this map, but I don't care. I would like a new map, for several reasons.

1. The large expanses of water suck.

2. The islands take forever to travel between, so I don't bother visiting anyone.

3. We're a small server, so we shouldn't be separated by islands to begin with.

4. We're stuck in a couple of biomes.

5. Since we're separated, I feel like I'm only playing minecraft with like 3 people. I only talk to Spacewrekker, Adam, and Oohdoiloveyou.

My ideal new map.

1. Spawn point is next to a grassland biome.

2. There are interesting landforms in the area.

3. There are a variety of biomes.

Honestly, our Coolville 1 map was fantastic. We had access to shit loads of biomes, relatively flat land to build on, a good sized body of water near our city. But we didn't have ANY interesting land masses and no Lapis in the main areas.

So find us a good seed.

Edit: You were in my house Spacewrekker, I logged on yesterday and there was a big hole in my house and I kept picking up experience orbs. I can't remember if I fixed it because I was high, and I haven't checked because I'm still high.

You know it actually takes less than 30 seconds by boat to get to the other main island? And from the nether portal there less than 5 minutes to anyone elses?

+ pete and todger are just over the way on the same island as us.

Me and Adam are Making railway. I love the transport aspect of MC, so i'll try to make it easier to get everywhere

Yeah sailing was fun for like 3 minutes... Then it got lame..

Now I really want to play again. Sheeeeeeeit.

Must resist.

Sailing does suck I dunno maybe the controls too derp for me.

Oh good, a railway. I'm tired of sailing, I always lose my sense of direction. I suppose I can give it more of a chance. I 'll try to develop between our settlements more then.

no he means there are NONE in 1.8, not just our server. none what-so-ever.

no, there are no snow biomes in this update. on any map. they're broken.

anyway there's some amazing terrain near my house:

i cant believe notch started working on something else 2 weeks before this update came out, and they didnt even put snow biomes in.

what a sadness the development of this game is..
