okay so heres the dealio on the matter

if it happens, the only thing you can do is go back to where you lost the orbs and wait until they are entirely absorbed again. it takes a long time, but it's the only way to stop the lag. then take those orbs and take a walk in some lava. infact, take a lava dive at least once a day (irl day) to remove any orbs you've collected that could cause this crash again.

So I managed to get on the server lastnight without much lag. Looks like I might build an underground lair of some sort. Perhaps something that connects two or more islands via underground tunnels. Hmm.

Make a fishing rod. Only fills 3 hunger, but there are always fish in the water even if you're on an island without many animals.

or call to me and take 1 of each type of mushroom and some bone meal. neverending soup.

is your guy's server super laggy right now too?

someone died and their xp orbs didnt get picked up and i am wondering if thats the reason there a 1 - 2 second lag

that nearly killed our server a number of times. until someone picks em up it'll fuck you up.

I settled in some hill to the left of your fire tower kaini. Epic structure incoming...eventually.

so did beneboi. that big landmass near mine really starts to look like an idea place for a city...

it's my orbs fucking everything up, I think. I killed some spiders and then died. Sorry, nothing I can do. Every time I log back in it's ok for a second, and then this fountain of orbs erupts from the ground and sends everything to shit

You do know that writing stuff like that is legally (as in real life, not just magical forum rule times) classed as a death threat and is prosecutable in most countries.

did everyone miss my posts on the orbs? if you have those troubles do exactly what i said, it's the only fix. don't log out or try to escape it, just pick them up and go afk for a while. and hope no creepers get to you.

I saw no sign of other people in the area, no torches or anything so hope it's not where beneboi is. It's on a hill right above a little lake thats adjacent to the main body of water.

5 minutes of your time and save the stability of the server! Then go die in a lava pit.

how did you guys fix the problem when you were having it? my server is screwed right now

surely you didnt go find all the places you died and pick them up or something

Uh. I figured it out by watching a creeper kill Kaini while he was complaining about how creepers were infiltrating his walk way.

Spent the next 10 minutes picking up the exp orbs at .01 fps. Then I figured if I died in lava they'd burn up so he took me to some lava pit and it worked.

hm, the orbs must have gone invisible or glitched into the ground or somthing on my server cuz we cant see them anywhere we've been dying

Weird.

They're kinda hard to miss, especially when a player drops like...10,000 of them or something ridiculous.
