Also have you double checked the server address? When I first tested the server I couldn't connect either, it took me about an hour to realise I'd gotten two numbers mixed up when I typed it in.

 

BTW everyone else the server will be down for a bit to update and backup. I'll edit this post when it's up and running again.

Dan you'll be pleased to know I built a tree house next to yours. And I also built some stairs up to your front door.

Started planning out and prototyping a little church in creative mode. Gonna get on the server and start constructing it tonight. Castles are one thing, but we need a place of worship and I intend to provide one.

you know what will take this game to the next level? When you can create drones/golems that will mine for you and bring stuff back and deposit in a chest. That's what the game really needs to make production more efficient. That, and being able to save templates for prefab chunks that could be placed in a group, rather than one by one...

I think there are a couple of mods that do that, actually. But for me, the repetitive hypnotic fun of mining is part of the appeal.

Spent a bit of time in the ravine last night, trying to develop and prettify the more neglected side. Eventually I hope to build a complex of chambers into the walls, including a small chapel for the purposes of non-denominational worship and devotion, but I'm so busy over the next few days that I'm not sure when I'll have time.

I still think watmm should put efforts together to make a line of sky high pillars. Like, top of the sky high!

I have been playing a lot of this lately, I gave up on the XBOX version when my friend gifted me the PC version, so much better and so much more to do. I'm running the BD craft Sphax texture pack and it looks fantastic.

Join the server George, carve out a little niche for yourself, it's great fun.

Kaini's porch is looking sweet. I'm currently working on a mock-tudor townhouse with dark wooden roof beams and everything.

I've been watching the yogcast's tekkit videos.
