on first listen in a car wasn't impressed.

2nd listen now i'm liking it more.

my complaints about late radiohead mostly revolve around the drumming. kinda hate the loops (on trk 1 especially and another i forget) although saying that i like feral alot

the drum machine hats on little my little sound awful before they integrate later in

song wise and thom wise and bass wise can't complain

and why is there a 1 at the end of the order numbers?

Probably going to be a second disk, King of Organs.

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

In late. I love it. May not be as good as Kid A but I think it's fan-fuckin-tastic.

Your in a very positive mood Mr Reason! I haven't got round to giving it a go yet as that video of Tom prancing around sort of put a dampner on it and killed my enthusiasm.

Yeah the video is dodgy. Great record though. Murkier than I expected as In Rainbows was clean as a whistle.

yea me too. everything is really coming together for ne. codex is incredible. I think magpie is my least fav at the moment but it's been changing everyday.

Lotus Flower and Codex have been virtually on loop, I adore them. A couple of bits make me shiver, there’s something about “blue birds float into my room” that proverbially tickles my bottom most delightfully. Could Lotus Flower about having an affair?

I like the Afrobeat/Fela/endless groove/Can/Jaki Liebezeit/Halleluhwah thing going on here, but I'm still a little unimpressed? Those grooves could be extended, enlightenment through repetition, all that, but the tracks are too short and too lacking in dynamic or compositional energy to really give me the thrills and elevate the material.

It's all pleasant enough, but it's not speaking to me after three listens.

Not been in this thread for a bit / tired after work and can't be arsed reading too far back / sorry if jazz etc., but people were wondering about the length of this album and being 2 x 10" vinyl etc. I think Kid A and Amnesiac were also issued in that exact same format weren't they?

can't help but be unwhelmed with little by little, give up the ghost and codex

little by little sounds like myxomatosis (or soemthing from that same album) but not as interesting

codex they've written before and better

give up the ghost is at least different but doesn't do much for me.

bloom i like.

feral i like best

lotus flower i like

seperator would even embaress the blonde haired thom who wrote pablo honey

mr magpie - fucking beat is shit. shoot phil. song is ok. i think its an old song so i'd love to hear the different versions they recorded

what the fuck is this mojib remix of codex? sounds like goats being blown
