I love all the parodies and gifs coming from this song and video but I'd be straight up lying if I said I wasn't totally in love with the song and video.

there were mp3s posted on http://www.waste-central.com/, on thom and jonny's pages. altho i don't know if i can find them anymore.

the ratsnest track is the best track that was posted :)

(thom's?) remix of harrowdown hill. production/beats remind me of king of limbs.

The fact all these animated gifts and videos appeared are the proof that the videoclip was a complete success

I do like this album much better when I am thoroughly stoned. It doesn't pack the punch of their previous stuff, not even In Rainbows, but it's good when I look at it as Thom Yorke trying his hand at his current musical interests.

questionable in what way? to me, it's stellar. the way thom's voice and the strings melt togother in the end is just sublime. gives me the chills.

its all come to proper perspective now jules, this album is without fault. honestly your right, codex was the last piece to clip into place

no, i'm being quite forthright.

the way tom bends his voice round on these is completely brilliant stuff. really spellbound with 'separator' at the moment.

Beady Eye man berates Thom Yorke and co

Liam Gallagher has laid into Radiohead for writing music "about a fucking tree" on their new album 'The King Of Limbs'.

The ex-Oasis man, currently fronting Beady Eye, berated the Oxford five-piece when asked about his musical influences in an interview with Thequietus.com.

He referenced Radiohead's recent shock-release of 'The King Of Limbs', the name of which derives from a 1,000 year old tree in Wiltshire.

"I heard that fucking Radiohead record ['The King Of Limbs'] and I just go, 'What?!'" he said. "I like to think that what we do, we do fucking well. Them writing a song about a fucking tree? Give me a fucking break! A thousand year old tree? Go f*ck yourself!"

Speaking of Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke's decision to take influence from the tree in question, Gallagher added: "You'd have thought he'd have written a song about a modern tree or one that was planted last week. You know what I mean?"

this sounds like an airplane landing on a minefield

Most of the tracks are boring for about 2, 2.5 minutes, then they bring in some little hook or warble or whatever that actually sounds good, and for about half the tracks that makes it turn out okay.

I've been really enjoying this album lately. I find it has more of an actual complete flow than In Rainbows did. I also like the more tranquil sound they take on in this album, it's fairly calm even by Radiohead's own standards. It has a very introspective/meditative feel to it which makes sense as I read somewhere this album was ery inspired by Thom's dabblings into Bhuddist philosophy.

And "Codex" is a brilliant track, probably my current favorite from the album. It has a very liquid quality to it, like someone drifting their hands across the water making ripples. I also find it similar to "Pyramid Song" which is one of my all time favorite Radiohead tunes.
