makes the version on the album seem like weaksauce - and the album version is amazing.

that they do. it's obv down to the sound engineers and the cameras and lighting peeps. most everyone shines on there. even if they're shit.

Someone mentioned Thom's fear of sounding like Coldplay... A few years ago I would have never thought I was going to say this, but I prefer the latest two Coldplay releases over King of Limbs. The Eno produced ones. Yeah!

I really like X+Y, it's fuckin solid. One or two shit songs (The Message, at least one more too) but the rest is actually really really good. Low and Square One are particularly good. I have no qualms sayin it either.

Videotape I didn't mind, the ending on the old versions seemed a little forced because of the uncomfortable syncopations they were doing, I think the recorded version sits a little better. But I agree with you on Four Minute Warning

Is "Bloom" about Thom Yorke's kid? He sings, 'watching you bloom is what keeps me alive...'

I don't know. It makes the song more moving for me, but I might be completely off.
