the version of this song imo.

makes the version on the album seem like weaksauce - and the album version is amazing.

jonny tears his guitar a new asshole and somehow also manages to do a keyboard part like he's JBC.

Pearly might be my favourite Radiohead track. Jonny needs to be louder in that live video, that guitar riff get me every time.

You posted Reckoner earlier, I have no beef. I absolutely adore that song.

that they do. it's obv down to the sound engineers and the cameras and lighting peeps. most everyone shines on there. even if they're shit.

Someone mentioned Thom's fear of sounding like Coldplay... A few years ago I would have never thought I was going to say this, but I prefer the latest two Coldplay releases over King of Limbs. The Eno produced ones. Yeah!

would like to have seen the present tense make an appearance, although maybe it's for the best. they ended up sort of mummifying videotape and four minute warning

Videotape I didn't mind, the ending on the old versions seemed a little forced because of the uncomfortable syncopations they were doing, I think the recorded version sits a little better. But I agree with you on Four Minute Warning

Is "Bloom" about Thom Yorke's kid? He sings, 'watching you bloom is what keeps me alive...'

I don't know. It makes the song more moving for me, but I might be completely off.

another most underrated b-side

This may be the ultimate melancholic drunk album, but that may be just me at the moment.

"They're about guns, lasers, robots with laser guns in space. Monsters from the future. Explosions. Sylvester Stallone doing a backflip on top of a spike while Robocop carries a ghost up a mountain. Bombs and swords and that... IDM is awesome."
