holy shit lol

so just now i was digging around in the fridge for something to eat for lunch. there's a mysterious half of a hamburger, and some random other shit. my mother in law brings her leftovers with her on the plane. whatever's in the fridge that might go bad while she's gone, she'll just put in her purse and bring with her.

also, my mother in law requests for her meat to be well done. we once went to a nice steakhouse for my wife's birthday, and she ordered a $40 filet mignon well done.

we were eating chicken recently, and it was cooked to perfection, nice juicy chicken breast. because it was juicy she claimed that it was raw.

basically, the only thing my mother in law brought with her for this trip was half a hamburger. no clothes, no toothbrush. half a goddam hamburger.

I found out that a lot of older Latino/as believe in "aire." Like wind or air can get in your body through your eye and give you backaches and shit. It's hot as hell in Oregon in the summer, but if I put on the ceiling fan my mother-in-law will take her dinner and eat outside. Sorry I'm drunk right now. :sup:

but it's true man

i'll be drinking heavily all week. i bought some wine cubes at target so that you cannot determine how much wine has been consumed until it's too late and i've already switched it out for a fresh cube / pitched the old one in the dumpster.

i once borrowed a bike from a friend for a day out strolling. as i was riding it through the city, my front wheel went flat just around my girlfriend's block. naturally, i called her and asked her if i can leave the bike at her place (my domicile being 40 minutes away), and she said yes.

i got home shortly after this, only to get a call from my gf telling me to come get the bike, because her mom was 100% SURE that I stole the bike from somewhere. she wouldn't listen to any of my gf's arguments (she's fuckin 24 yo), and summoned me to come get "the stolen bike" right away from her apartment. so i had to ask my mom to drive me to her place to get the fuckin bike, only to discover it wouldn't fit in our little ass 2 doors opel corsa, as we struggled to bend the laws of physics for a half an hour.

but there are so many wrongdoings, i could compile at least 60 stories into a book

you'd lose all your money man. i'm so insconsistent. equal moments of brilliance and shit.

yea me too, if we had opposite bad holes, we could clean up though. it would be fun either way. it would probably take me 8 beers to understand your accent anyway.

another thing my mother-in-law does is constantly bring us tons of food like we can't grocery shop. but we couldn't possibly eat what she brings. we are 2 people and she will bring 5 pounds of marinated steak, so i cant even freeze it. i guess this counts as first world problems too? damn it, i always have to throw out pounds of meat!

Get a dehydrator. Think of all the jerky you could then be eating on the course whilst putting away those beers.

I mean she's already marinated it for you, just sprinkle on some chilli powder and you're good to go.

It's weird, i was considering taking up golf because of this thread. I guess i am susceptible to peer pressure. Especially when it comes from my watmm brothers.

Thankfully coalbucket's cynical comment shook me out of my delusory haze.

Cool, that works out great. Now no one will find that ever growing hoard of gifted trash that you're hiding down there.

do it man. it is the best sport hands down. you can play from 8 to 80. it gets you out of the house in the fresh in with your friends. there are no women allowed. what other sport can you play in which you are playing your friend for money yet you are rooting for your friend to do well at the same time? and you call your own fouls. it's a gentleman's game, played by gentlemen.

only my wife's dad is salvadoran, so, luckily, i am spared the latina mother-in-law stuff. her dad is a chill guy who owns a lunch truck in LA where he makes pupusas and such. he is really fun to hang out with. he said he's gonna go back to el salvador when he retires in a few years, so now we will have a place down there to visit often! :sup:
