 I’m not justifying murder but you gotta give credit where credit is due. This is the most thought-provoking murder that has taken place in this country in a long time. All these low effort, ape-brained failures who indiscriminately spray up their local Walmarts that are forgotten a week later when the next man up does the same thing.

This dude comes around weeks in advance with a plan, shell casings associated with a book to help educate the public and forces a larger conversation to take place on MSM. Moves through the crowds and leaves them with some funny money because maybe fuck it, why not? It would be wild if the amount of Monopoly money matched that of the (assumed) denied claim he or his loved one didn’t get awarded. I guess it could all be a red herring too but seems unlikely. Unless there’s a few real ones at the FBI this dude is getting caught but he is also, most definitely getting that “Deny. Delay. Depose” Netflix original 3 years from now lol.

my friend said, quite accurately, that the USA hasn't been this united since 9/11. from the right and the left people are like, "Well, not advocating murder but fuck that guy and here's why..."  even on ben shapiro's channel where he made a video about it being bad to kill a CEO his fans came for him and were all basically in agreement that they're sick of rich assholes and CEOs putting the boot on the neck of poor working class people.. and yet they voted for a billionaire who is putting other billionaires in charge of "fixing" the system.  so, we'll see if they learn and start doing math a little better but it really is an interesting reaction from the mass of americans.

 I guess Elon’s damned if he does damned if he doesn’t. I guess we are as well with respect to the insurance companies because here in Minnesota (UHC HQ unfortunately) from Governor Tim Walz to Mayor Frey and other establishment Dems they are all talking about how the CEO was a great person and how this is some tragic loss to the great united healthcare community, etc. Obviously the Republicans are just as beholden to these soulless entities. Fully agreed it is good to see unity over the issue though. Hopefully both voter bases can continue to work on exposing and pursue legal action against a purposefully broken system. I also recently had my employer switch our provider to UHC . Fuck.

It's not too surprising considering how cut-and-dry of an example this is.  Those in power can do a good job fooling chuds when it comes to complex issues, getting them to act and/or vote against their own best interests, e.g., how MAGA folk scream about repealing Obamacare and then if asked, say they have a favorable opinion of the ACA.  There's nothing ambiguous about this murder, and what UHC did/does.  This one is too hard to spin.

I hope this becomes a watershed moment, getting people to really examine how fucked up the health care system is in this country.

I’m not a big fan of this channel or whatever but every once in a while the algorithm throws him my way. I’ve never heard of a class of people get roasted in such a clinical fashion. Dr. Grande prescribing bars.

I bet the cops are gonna lean on him HARD to take a plea because they know that it could be hard to get a jury to convict this guy.

Can the judge override if there's a hung jury?  Does there have to be a decision for the judge to overturn?  Seems to me that a hung jury is much more likely than acquittal by nullification.

Really taking my US law understanding to its limits here, but yeah you're right, a hung jury can't be overturned. The judge can pressure them to reach a verdict but that has been the basis of many successful appeals.

Motive seems to be crystal clear anyway. Doesn't strike me at all like someone else ordered this.
