i used to love clark's stuff especially his first two/three albums. this isn't working for me, just like his other albums. not enough idm i guess.

This one's gonna take a few listens

I like this album as a whole, but the individual tracks on their own are weak with the exception of Unfurla. I love how the album closes. Such a different album from Iradephic. I still like Totems and Riddle much, much more than either of his past 2.

Can't wait to have the actual LP in my hands. Much grower, very earworm.

I've listened to the record a couple times now. Conclusion is much better than Iradelphic but overall a pretty bland, not so memorable release. I couldn't pick out an individual track really, they are mostly four to the floor like someone else already said.

The highlight for me is Grit In The Pearl

I started a thread in this subforum given that it was (and still currently is) a 'new release'

I think it's a significantly better album than Iradelphic, but if I could only listen to one track from either, it'd be The Pining, Part 2. Second place might even be Part 1. There's just nothing that really stands out on this album for me. Maybe that'll change with more listens.

Agreed that its better than Iradelphic.

It does however sound fairly pedestrian and its not the Clark of old.

the samples don't do much for me. It's too bad; the first 3 or 4 albums he did were quite special. I always expected Clark to be a unique voice in the long run, but after Turning Dragon his stuff got boring IMO. kinda reminds me of 2562's trajectory.

I bet they haven't actually shipped it yet. I preordered 3 months ago and mine was sent out this morning.
