paris and brussels should be similar. paris has a bunch more stuff and is longer. so i'd pick paris over brussels

Currently listening to Brussels, it seems to have more hip-hop vibes which I just love. Paris feels less straightforward during its first half imo but it just keeps on delivering in its 2nd half.

On a related note : I am having a blast discussing these sets with you fellow WATMMers, reading your reactions, the cookie monster memes... Reminds me of the NTS sessions hype !

Just listening to the first half of Barcelona atm.  Really good, funky and sort of introspective hip hop, with a great bit around 18 minutes or so in which sounds like a wailing sax.  Now at the 27 minute mark it sounds like they are introducing a field recording with birdsong and the hum of a distant motorway.  Blown away.

I listened today & seemed to have a lot of same sections though started with stuff that was in second half of London B & then morphed off into sone different shit...

fuck knows though going to take me a long time to get proper handle on this shit, but was another awesome set! Think I'm going to stick to all the more recent 2024 sets to start with and slowly make my way back through the older ones.

This is really on par with their best stuff. I’m so glad to be able to listen to these. 

in any case im having a pretty good time listening to brussels whilst refreshing election thread on other forum. might listen to lyon again after and just listen to those two a bunch over the next however many days/weeks

my experience with the latest batch so far has been long periods of "oh yeah, this is pretty funky. nice" occasionally punctuated by "ooh that was a cool sound". that is to say its very good, and thats only a first impression

dude this weird bass part at ~56:00 in brussels. wow thats a nice sound
