IMHO this gif stops short of doing the 'chre bros justice - hoping we have the technology (AI maybe?) to make a version where after 2 or 3 nods the head dissociates and goes full MS solitaire win?

Yea I still have a ways to go (including Brussels) but the latest Dublin set is something special. Like, halfway it picks up where London B left off and starts turning into full-synthetic late-90s Squarepusher jazz, then just evolves into something completely new. The lads never fail to impress.

Venice around 26:05 and a few more times up to 27:00, there's this little pitchbendy feedback thing (?) that sounds like a howling animal of some kind, really cool little detail that only appears in this set I think

I have been waaaaaaay far behind as I haven't listened to any of the boots. I have been following along in this thread though. I just had a long work trip and got through London B, Rennes and Krems. I would like to know this too.  I cannot afford the £50 for all of the 24-bit WAVs, so will buy a couple individually for now to see me through.

Krems and Lyon would cover both the C and D sets completely. You could get a bit more for your money with Paris instead of Krems though. Killer set too.

honestly im almost done with this batch (as in finishing my first listen lol def coming back to some of these all year) and KREMS is my personal pick for weakest C set. its still incredible! i just didnt think it stood out from the rest terribly much

i think my #2 pick rn would be RENNES, might geniunely be the darkest piece of music Autechre have ever recorded. (pls dont tell me if set D is as dark ive avoided spoilers this entire time Thanks)
