Sony Pictures Classics distributed the trilogy in the west and somehow, I doubt they're going to make a high priority of a blu-ray transfer. I still find it rather remarkable (and very sad) that Criterion hasn't released *anything* from Ray. That being said, the SPC transfer on DVD is very high quality. I really enjoyed the trailer before the grindhouse movies and was fairly excited when Machete was announced as a full length film, but somewhere along the way I just lost all interest in it.
