fact is there are only a few active members who have been consistently committed to making cool stuff on the server - Pete, Franklin, Franklin's bro, Kaini (back in the day), and a few others.

As said, I'm ok with starting up a new map, but I'd be actually stoked for it if we could find a way to import the chunk my cathedral is on into the new map. I really like having it as my "home base". I'm sure there must be a way to do that - anyone? Kokoon?

if kakoon puts up the old map to download I would be willing to try importing the main chunks into a new seed with MCedit(or whatever else tool), then uploading it back onto his server.

that would make you a god amongst men in my book. Again I'm pretty flexible in this regard, if people don't want all of CV1 that's fine, I'm willing to give up my entire little "island city" area, I just want to have my cathedral (which is on the outskirts of cv1)....

I was as active as any of them earlier on. Maybe you weren't on the server at the time.

in creative mode you control time with f6 and f7 and fly with double tap space and shift (up and down respectively)

make sure you back up your old jar because i can't seem to connect to minecraft.net. might just be because traffic will be crazy at the moment though

is it just crashing out or running out of memory? Mine was doing the latter but I've upped the memory allocation on mine which seems to have helped

That sucks. Jeb was tweeting earlier about some OpenGL bug that they couldn't fix so I guess its that

By couldn't fix I mean the only fix was setting render distance to normal
