Probably just a delay at the pressing plant. Happens all the time, at least in my experience.

So, can we complain about delays or not? It's so difficult to keep track of the things you are allowed to complain about nowadays.

You'd swear you were waiting on a liver transplant.

you would think for a label operating as long as Skam has they would have a 'go-to' pressing and acetate cutting guy to do a consistently good job on their pressings. I know from my experience it took me about 3-4 years to find the right people and companies to return to.

My first choice liver was delayed and it pisses me off like nothing else. Second choice would be a vinyl one. But who'd be dumb enough to go for vinyl nowadays.

i know they used MPO for a long time for their pressing, but after what happened with the VHS Head album being fucked up, I believe Skam have stopped using them.

The VHS Head had to repressed man. Did you not know? Sounded like shit apparently, I wouldn't know Ive only the RP. Osc has both.

I shouldn't have suggested that they might be snobby twats. I'm sure they're not.

I like to think I am not a snobby twat, as the format my music comes in is less important than it's availability. I live in a little nyc apartment. Even if I had a record player I would prolly never use it because I generally spend all my music listening time walking around with the dog or on the subway. Whatever, I shouldn't feel bad about not owning a record player in the year 2011.

By the way, Spotify is the greatest thing since Netflix. Hopefully my vinyl complaints will stop with Skull Snap appearing on Spotify soon.

I totally agree, constantly surprised by what I find on there. But whatever happened to all the Planet Mu stuff :(

I recently read up on how Spotify works for smaller artists and record labels. It doesn't. Perhaps Planet Mu thought it wouldn't be worth the price of a cup of coffee every month to offer up their entire discography. I still love Spotify, but I've decided to keep buying my favorite electronic stuff.

Probably very true, I too always buy my favourite releases, but Spotify is great for auditioning stuff.

I thought I read somewhere that Planet Mu got a mere 100 bux from Spotify and thought it wasn't worth it.

Yeah, I looked into getting Milieu on Spotify, and it's just one of those "Sell us your soul by signing your music's rights away with one of the aggregates we work with" scenarios. Meh.
