still have not seen Coppola's Megalopolis yet, but I love these interviews. It's a famous video store in Paris and they invite film makers to check out the store and talk about their influences when they have a new film coming out

Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In. Super fun and dumb (in a good way) throwback to the heydays of Kung Fu cinema. Loved it.

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

Just watched my favourite film of all time at the Waterloo iMax. Haven't seen it for maybe 8 years as it's not a film you can just put on, it's a 'mission' so to speak. A fantastic experience and as always rather exhausting.

soi cheang has made three of these. i have 'limbo' to watch, apparently very good. want to see 'mad fate', another recent of his.

loved 'dog bite dog' many years ago. 'accident' is also very good. everything else has been quite poorly received.

The Invisible Man, from a few years back, daycent, freaks you out a bit not knowing where the invisible lad is 😂

Defo worth a watch if you're looking for a horror to watch, could've been been better could've been a lot worse

Just watched The Last Stand (Arnie, Forest Whitaker) Total perfect Monday evening film. Really enjoyed it, a blast! A solid 7/10 from me.

The first one was alright though. Did not want a sequel.

I'm watching the new Salems Lot film, I had high expectations for this when I initially heard they were doing it again, its laughably bad, the bloke who wrote this screen play and directed it should never work in film again. I usually enjoy a Stephen King adaptation, even some of the fairly shit ones, especially in the witching season, this is taking the biscuit and sticking it up its own vampire bum, absolutely dreadful. Not many worse than this.

wow, i was thinking about watching that this weekend...may have to hatewatch it in the background now knowing my expectations need to be lowered...

all this talk of Stephen King adaptations has got me wanting to rewatch John Carpenter's Christine, very fun and often overlooked in Carpenter's filmography (given that he had so many other classics):

Don't bother, the regret will drain ya

If you haven't seen the Iranian vampire flick 'A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night' I'd recommend that

Even the American 'Let The Right One In' remake

Or just a classic old vampire film

Great movie, one of my favorites!

Watched this for the first time the other night. I was kind of surprised how fun and entertaining it was. Beyond the allegorical musings on death and religion it really is just a great hang, a medieval ensemble road trip movie... such a charismatic cast of characters, great comedic moments. Only other Bergman I've seen is Persona so I was expecting a darker experience. Makes me excited to explore more of his filmography.
