2024 US Election

I'm as confused, incoherent and hypocritical as the next person.  My views are spread across the political spectrum.  For example I am very liberal on abortion.  I would expand it to cover foetuses up to the age of 18 years.  Whereas I would shoot illegal immigrants, and some of the legal ones too, just to keep them on their toes.  I'm a bit racist, but not too much.  I have particularly enjoyed the moslems getting what was coming to them recently.  But I find the N word abhorrent.  I have no insight into why 70m just voted for an animatronic colostomy bag.  Your idols speak so much of the abyss and yet your morals only run as deep as the surface. 

You would shoot all illegal immigrants and some of the legal immigrants for no reason whatsoever, but you don't think you're too racist? Haha wtf

I'm not sure Bernie's entirely correct in the suggestion that this would've won the Dems the election, but damn i like his honesty. wish he'd have stuck to his guns on these things more in some ways, but it's hard to make enemies of everyone and still get anything done, so i understand the tradeoff.

also, i find myself hoping we've got some good solid, evenkeeled folks in the CIA / FBI / military upper echelon who are having some nice little secretive meetings starting today about situations on how to deal with, ahem, potential issues that may arise over the coming months/years.

This is what happens when ya abandon the working class and deindustrialize while outsourcing to china. I think the biggest part of the USA gdp is the financial sector? There’s a lot of money there to run campaigns but not a lot of votes. Plus billionaires and citizens united doing their things. Yay! Mericuh.  

the republicans and their “states rights” bullshit is gonna get turned on its head as they force there will on the entire country… blue states and all. Gonna be bumpy ride and pretty weird. Hoping there will be enough resistance to slow them down in congress and more of that infighting and incompetence to trip them up. Trump going full loyalist though and his transition team has not submitted their plans which was supposed to happen months ago as a guide if a candidate wins so coordination can occur. So, they’re up to some shit already.

I know people are going to go off about "the dems suck for the working class, gotta earn the vote" etc. But the working class voting for Trump because they want change is like punching yourself in the face because you don't like your nose.

Yes the Democrat record for workers hasn't been great, but the Biden administration did quite a bit for workers/unions and proposed even more. Yeah. It doesn’t necessarily make sense except that it’s what happened. I think there is an element of “fuck the system” and trump is the guy to do it.  But also does t make loads of sense. There’s just so much uninformed horse shit takes on things. It’s always been this way. Dems don’t know what to do with power when they have it. It’s a failure of the party and dnc. Dems are also owned by elites and financial system. In 2008 they got bailed out and the people didn’t. No one went to jail after that whole crash soaked with fraud. Nothing changed. It’s broken and no one is saying they’ll fix it or change it but here comes trump spewing all kinds of bullshit
