1. They're not disbanded so until further notice it's 1995-2025 and counting
2. It's a shame that people are now butchering artists based on how much music they release annually. Quality > Quantity

Posthuman did a good old man rant on IG, saying that music biz is just social media nonsense now, and no one cares about the "real world". I can't see BOC giving a flying fuck about social media, streaming, or even YouTube for that matter.

Tomorrow's Harvest viral campaign. I rest my case  That was a Warp/BoC project. Even more so their recent video uploads on Instagram and playlist edits on YouTube suggest otherwise. Some of these were a clear response to current real world events. What I'm saying is not every BoC related change online is made by some Warp intern. Remember how they tweeted "there are no words" when Bowie died? Surely they don't need no agency to post that.

It's so hard to keep up with the whirlwind of boc activity this last 3 decades, I guess I just tuned out for awhile because it was too much for me!

It's true music fans do place WAY too much importance on artists actually releasing music. Reordering playlists and updating avatars should be enough ffs, ingrates!

the problem with twoism is that its a website for one band, and that has effects on the social atmosphere.  its a bit too obsessive.  watmm is about multiple bands, but most importantly I would posit, is that ceephax is included.  you cant take yourself too seriously in the midst of that dude, his music vids will always lighten up any atmosphere and make it chill

-they only released albums between 1996 and 2013, that's 17 years. Twoism is an album from 2002. demo tapes made prior to a band actually getting signed to a label are not considered as "releasing" music by absolutely anybody wtf

-this argument isn't about quantity over quality. we're not criticizing the quality of their music, we're discussing the quantity.

-societas x tape is not an album, it's a mix. dear lord your head would explode if you knew how much output autechre have produced in terms of mix tapes of other peoples' music, if you don't know it's in the range of 100+ hours.

-activity on social media doesn't count. i'm active on social media but it doesn't mean i've been releasing music for 20 years.

-XYZ is a reversion of their decision not to include a track on the peel session in 1999, that kind of decision is highly illustrative of the fact that they have stopped releasing music, it doesn't belong in a list like yours...
