I just played the demo for Zeno Clash. I saw that it was only $3.75 on steam but still couldn't bring myself to buy it without playing the demo. I'm glad I didn't.

sad thats a great game

Not a bad game, just that the demo was enough. It got very repetitive, and the weapons didn't feel right. I multiplayer aspect would help I think.

I liked the art style. To a degree.

Been playing Cut the Rope on my phone a lot. Cute, simple, addicting little game for droid and iphone.

just picked this beauty back up. anyone else played this?

Looks absolutely awesome!

I just got 5 stars on all cases in la noire. I wish they would release more dlc, because I really want more. It's one of the best games I've ever played. I can't get enough of it.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion mainly and a bit of Borderland & Warsow.

being a Vampire in Oblivion kind of sucks.. but it's cool, sucking a bit of blood here and there to get by, this game isn't getting boring.

Did you notice if you don't feed for a while, and gain super powers, that you can jump over oblivion gates? I was so happy when I found that.

Eventually I had the witch cure me though.

That's pretty cool, but when I don't feed for a while I can't talk to anybody! It's pretty good on the otherside obliviously, but incredibly annoying when I'm trying to sell all the loot that I won't be able to carry after I've fed.

What music is that ?? it's amazing.

Ennio Morricone !! From 1969 no less, timeless piece. I really should have gotten more of his soundtracks.

My search was initially thrown off when a commenter suggested some piss-ant creative commons folk singer bullshit. Painful trying those four song names. Bless the fact that I had the Morricone piece to come back to, for to wash out my ears.

Yeah I've played that track many a time now, it's bloody aces.

Today I played and then bought this -

and you should too

(or at least give the demo a try)

And I can't believe it happily works on my 6 year old lappy in full quality and in 1280xsomething resolution (alas not in the funky outlined-vector mode due to the shader capabilities of my videocard)

It's like if the woman in Mirrors Edge found herself in the Rez world played on some 1950s analogue computer.

same here

I've reached about 100hrs play time, and feeling like I've reached the point where I should just stop playing - I think I've finished the main quest, but I guess you never really know

Fotonica looks like a Robot Unicorn kind of game, but in first person, with Mirror's Edge animations and vectorial graphics. Just a mix of games. Doesn't look too good to me.

agreed, do you do anything other than run in a straight line and jump?

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

There's multiple routes vertically and objects to collect (and high-scores to beat) but that's pretty much it. But purity is bliss in this era of unnecessary convolution.

I mean Space Invaders is just moving left and right and shooting things but that's been a pretty enduring game !

Plus it's only $1.75 (more if you're feeling generous), you've probably farted more change than that down the back of the sofa....

Today I sold BFBC2 as i pretty much maxed out on everything i can wait a few months for BF3 and bought Just Cause 2 which apparently will tie me over untill then

I watched Kurosawa's Ran a few days ago and it convinced me to give Shogun 2 another shot. They patched out some important issues, I get much better framerates and working anti-aliasing now. Got hooked yesterday and played all night. I'm not sure if I'm gonna make the objectives for the long campaign but it's a lot of fun. Except sea battles, which are still boring.

Recently began my second attempt at baldurs gate 2. Going considerably better this time, but i'm playing on a lower diff. didn't think i'd enjoy this kind of thing this much. playing as a paladin. if all goes well i will try my hand at a more interesting class and then go for planescape torment and the icewind dale games.

I started a game in Dead Space 2. It's pretty intense. I like it so far.

I god I really want this game. I was just replaying dead space(the first) today on hard mode and it is fucking amazing.

Does LA Noire get any better? I just started in homicide and it's all pretty repetitive and dull, the big highlight so far has been spotting the actor who played Ted Theodore Logan's Dad.

"They're about guns, lasers, robots with laser guns in space. Monsters from the future. Explosions. Sylvester Stallone doing a backflip on top of a spike while Robocop carries a ghost up a mountain. Bombs and swords and that... IDM is awesome."
