Add me, "Moth Eater", I play from time to time. Send me a message next time we're both on, and we'll 'do this thing'. I'm an ace medic.

Sure thing. I don't have the code/dlc tho and as I found out last night with maximus it makes matchmaking a little more awkward (if you have the dlc), but I'll still hit you both up next time I'm on.

yeah i completed 23/39 episodes and am already getting cramps

probably will get on this game next

gameplay revolves around perspective that you control.

kind of tired of all the established genres, need to play something different

Echochrome and Echochrome ii are great - especially ii, which you use the Move controller as a flashlight to manipulate the levels...

Playing in the Uncharted 3 beta... badass stuff!

Just started Dead Space 2, and it's making me quite happy. I thought maybe video games were dead to me since the last few I started just didn't compel me enough to keep playing, but DS2 got the blood pumping again. I like a game that can put me on edge.

Portal 2's prices finally droped, got mine for the 360 for 23 euros, brand new. My x-bro got it as well. Summer 2011, here I come

I just finished my second play-through on the harder difficulty level. Definitely a VERY good game! Also, playing as alien in the multiplayer is a lot of fun too =)

I finally beat Portal 2. I loved it.

I got stuck on 3 puzzles, 2 of them were because I didn't see something, 1 was because it was genuinely difficult. I was able to figure them out none the less without the help of the interwebs.

However, my boss fight was glitched and had the consult the web on it, because at first I figured I wasn't doing something right.

Borderlands GOTY for 7.50, finally gonna try this. I have so many games I've snapped up during sales which I haven't got round to playing yet because I need a new comp first, argh.

playing as a wat now

lol, the alien/space zombie/whatever the fuck the baddies in Dead Space 2 are lol

i've never managed to get the steam release of borderlands working on a laptop with a decent ATI gfx card, and only working in buggy-as-fuck mode on a desktop with a decent ATI card. valve really need to do a bit of quality control on that sort of thing.

I just bought Oblivion: GOTY Deluxe Edition for $8.50. What a deal! I've only even played it pirated. I figure it's about time I bought it. Plus all the extra stuff is just awesome. The Deluxe Edition comes with stuff I've never heard of before: " includes Knights of the Nine and the Shivering Isles expansions plus Fighter's Stronghold Expansion, Spell Tome Treasures, Vile Lair, Mehrune's Razor and much more." The only things I heard of were the Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles expansions. What the hell are those other ones? Has anyone here played them?

rented portal 2 and la noire but havent had a chance to play either of them as we only have 1 ps3 between 4 people and my roommate is obsessed with la noire at the moment. doesn't seem that interesting to me, but i really only like adventure style games with whacky plots and silly puzzles. also never been a huge fan of that kind of noir style.

so i have just been continuing to play tf2 lmao.

Continuing to play Outland - the boss fights are epic, and harken back to the 'good old days' of platforming action games. The game's progression and art style is excellent and refreshing from all the hyper-realistic rendered stuff, but the HD really makes the artwork pop. I recommend people checking this game out (there's a demo on PSN, dunno about Live), and for 10 bucks, it's well worth it.

Gearbox was going to make a Blade Runner game:

  Quote
Gearbox monarch Randy Pitchford has revealed that his studio was, at one point, planning to make a Blade Runner game, but had to stop itself because such a project would have killed the company.

"Blade Runner was on [the list]," he said in Official PlayStation Magazine. "We had it too and we were like, 'No, we can't.' That game would've cost like $40 million to make and sold about 600,000 units -- and that would have been the end of us.

"There's no rational business model that would have allowed that to make sense. If we'd made it with a business model that did work, it would not have been the Blade Runner game we all would have wanted."

Randy's probably right, and it's a shame to think that an IP that inspired so many popular sci-fi games would sell like crap. Still, it seems Prey 2 will be attempting to give us a Blade Runner-esque experience, even if it's not an actual Blade Runner game. I'm looking forward to that.

We really should have a video game news thread btw.
