I got on PSN this weekend and got Dead Nation for free, and paid for Tetris HD.

Both games are completely awesome. I have no clue which I like better.

I'm a Tetris player too... might need you to help me get those Multiplayer trophies :emotawesomepm9:

Heh, didn't say I was any good at tetris, but I'd be down. I think the best I got was level 12 in marathon mode, but I was getting lucky towards the end. Hold is the greatest function in the world, and I'm still figuring out how to do spinning.

Downloaded InFamous (free PS3 game): It's really, really good - the story is a bit weak, but the environments, missions and powers are great - I cannot for the life of me why I avoided this game for so long, but I'm glad I finally got around to playing it. the demo of InFamous 2 is on the PSN as well... might download that after I get through InFamous.

I just started playing it myself...and...im not really sold yet on whether this is a great game..the snipers on the roof are fucking unbearable...the hit detection makes it impossible to kill them most of the time...so i just end up running from one place to the next. ..but i spose thats the point? ive only done the first 3 major missions and a few side missions..so maybe ill give it more of a chance...GoW3 it is not, however.

I remeber snipers being annoying the first day or two I had that game. After a while you learn to always stay on the rooftops unless absolutely necessary. Later you can upgrade a sniper skill to zoom-in and take out those guys a ton easier.

Near the end of chapter 2 of The Witcher 2. I wasn't so fond of the action and controls at the start but now I've put all my points in swordsmanship tree and it's going really smooth.

Only thing I really hate in this game is inventory management, no ability to sort on type, weight or value is an absolute pain.

Looks like I'll be finishing an RPG for once. Considering playing the first one after this.

I'm also playing some Frozen Synapse which is much more fun than I imagined. I like that you can play multiple games at the same time. Multiplayer is very well done. Too bad it has this excessive loading sequence after each turn.

You never played infamous Joyrex? I thought you had. Anyways, SR4, stick with it. It's one of those games that starts off really cheesy and bad and feels kind of clumsy but gets way better as the story progresses and the game opens up and you get more powers, you'll have fun and want to keep playing, after day 16(in game time) or so it gets really good. The new game looks pretty cool but seems way different in a lot of ways.

Nope... dunno why, I guess there were other games that interested me more at the time. Can't wait to go through it being evil (trying to be goodie two-shoes right now).

Likewise. My old housemate gave me a code for it last year when he bought the sucker. Can be such a thrilling game. So rewarding when you get precision :)

anyone else had a fool about with world of tanks? my brother keeps raving about it (he hangs around with a load of sketchy russians, and it's massive over there), so i'm downloading presently.

I've decided to get a new PS3 on Saturday as I've had enough of being without one. I'm guessing I'll be downloading Dead to Rights and Wipeout HD.

Is Wipeout HD worth worht getting? I don't have the scratchit and wank one and loved the original but can't decide which I'll prefer?

Decisions decisions???

:doge: Jet fuel can't melt dank memes :doge:

No one here playing Outland?

I'm loving and hating (mainly due to difficulty) it in equal measure at the moment.

A nice platformer with some great boss battles and a heavy dose of Ikaruga inspiration. I've been impressed overall.

I am really bad at wipeout. I need to have bumpers on at all time or I will simply blow up my vehicle. I'm on the 4th campaign level(the one with ubermall I think?) and I fucking still suck, maybe I should bump it back down to novice but I would feel lame. Some of the races are really frustrating, like the AI is just too good, as soon as a I get ahead they all pass me on like a corner.

Have you guys seen this game yet? By the makers of flower, journey: http://www.joystiq.com/2011/06/03/thatgamecompanys-jenova-chen-tours-the-world-of-journey/

it looks amazing. Probably the closest thing to the visuals I have seen in one of my dreams, especially the way the characters move and the sand. I had a very similar dream that involved magical indian characters with boobs/moustache floating amongst sandy cliffs waving their limbs wildy while floating, looking around in peculiar way as if in a different reality. Strangest and most magical dream I have had.

Been waiting for this for a while.

Just seen a good breakdown from the a couple of the devs here about online modes, influences etc

The online looks intriguing. Can't wait for this.

assassin's creed 1 and assassin's creed 2 (+DLC) is only 9.99 a piece on playstation store today. I've never played either, should I skip 1? I can really only afford to buy one of them right now and I'd like to get the most bang for my buck before this deal goes away, so I'm thinking just getting AC2.

wow...reminds me a lot of Shadow of the Colossus, atmosphere-wise. Is this for PC or console?

I really should finish AC2 and AC Bros.

Been playing heaps of Left 4 Dead 1 on PC, missed the old co-op zombie apocalypse thingo. (I didn't bother getting L4D2 because of the censorship.)

How is Left 4 Dead? Been considering getting it for that exact experience.

i'm playing infamous on ps3. it's quite good. i already played prototype and enjoyed that as well. i'm also playing a little bit of the beta for apb: reloaded, and as i found with regular apb, in small doses it is pretty fun. i just really enjoy it for getting in big group vs group missions

edit: i also just recently finished portal 2 and the co-op with my bro. very fun stuff! well,

Btw, could I get an invite to the the WATMM Steam group, id is http://steamcommunity.com/id/melodiousthunk

Oh, me too, please! my id is "Thompost"

I'm always up for some left 4 dead action. although i currently only have the second one on my steam, i miss the darkness of the first one. thats also part of the joy in the second one. seeing as its daytime for most of the game, whenever you go into dark places, like the mall in the first level, the contrast is fantastic and raises the intensity when you're playing realism mode and can't actually see any of your team mates......

oh no.......i'm gonna have to play this now......
