finished deadnation yesterday. what a terrible ending. the end of videogames is usually pretty shit but this just felt like they gave up and ended it. also i was annoyed because the gameplay itself was really fun. so short though

i started playing just cause 2 and so far its been not fun. the demo was fun as it felt more free roam and blow shit up and skydive etc. whereas the actual game is some bitch telling you what to do continuously.

read reviews before you play it because it has a lot of problems and i mean a lot. i wouldnt spend more than 3 dollars to play it, it is sickening

...in your opinion. You might want to give some examples of how you thought it had 'a lot of problems'...

i personally would rather trust the opinion of people on this board over some 'review'

I admire your undying faith in mankind, however misguided it may be! :emotawesomepm9:

I loved Mirror's Edge but the trial-and-error gameplay could be really pretty frustrating at times

Still hoping for the sequel, I believe it's eventual

"trial and error" gameplay? That's called "figuring stuff out". Most games have that. The shit ones guide you by the hand (like most 'popular' games these days) as if you needed a white crash helmet whilst playing.

Still stuck on Zeus on GOW2 but going to get Dead Space 2 this afternoon methinx.

Is anyone else finding Dead Nation really hard? My bro says its more a two player game.

LOL, it is hard. Two player just ups the ante, so don't think extra help will make it any easier.

have you played assassin's creed 2 joyrex? I think you would really enjoy it.

Y'know, I stayed away from the first due to the repetitiveness mentioned by fans and reviews, and the second for some reason just didn't 'wow' me from what I saw - I know it's a highly regarded game - perhaps I'll check it out once I catch up on these other games (I suspect like InFamous, it's a game I should have never passed over).

So i've just playing through the leak of Deus Ex Human Revolution and i have to say i'm really looking forward to this being released, as if i wasn't already excited enough.

Having not played the original i've decided to install it. No doubt there are people here that have played it, my question is how long does it take to play through? i understand that there are many side missions etc so just give me an average.

Twatted Zeus with repeated lightning and quick attacks then kept my distance when he got the sword back. GOW3 was a little harder you just have to remember to keep powering up from Gia's heart when Zeus does!

Got Dead Space 2 cheap and I'm going through it like a azimuthal! A big improvement on the first with touches of Bioshock, some bit's really grab you too quite literally although the game doesn't seem as challenging as the first but it wasn't that long since I played the first anywayz.

independent game. game gets very difficult, but the controls are spot on

an kind of overwhelmed with games i'll never play.. but finally making my way through ff7 at work

I have this on my nintendo DS.

Completed the L.A. Noire: Nicholson Electroplating dlc case. Was a little disappointed with it. But it had some very cool investigation scenes.

Fantastic game. Crazy difficult, but so rewarding when you finally nail that level you just replayed 50 times.

Working my way through Alice: Madness Returns again to try and get all the collectibles. Don't normally try that, but I really really like the art style, and they unlock art galleries and such.

I remember playing earlier version or something. It was a bit different. Really great game. Took me about a month to complete 100 levels.

I've been taking on Portal 2 in small chunks. I believe I'm at the 2nd to last level. I seriously think this is GOTY.

Choice weapons/upgrades?

Quite like the lancer but got five chapters in before a realised R2 set of an electro charge! this would have made those fuckers that run fast towards you a lot easier in a couple of bits!

Digging the security suit now! :sup:

yeah i completed 23/39 episodes and am already getting cramps

probably will get on this game next

gameplay revolves around perspective that you control.

kind of tired of all the established genres, need to play something different
