Shooter 2 gets more fun as you get into it... some of the later puzzles are quite fun, plus an update for it just came out that addresses some issues (like knowing if you've gotten all the gems in a level or not).

 

You might want to consider looking at Outland - it has a co-op mode (which admittedly I haven't tried yet).

yeah we're gonna keep playing shooter but its been a slog so far.

Nope, the control system for Mario Galaxy is perfect. Wii Remote + Nunchuck = Mmmmmmm perfick platforming tools

I tought the same thing would be a problem for me. But it's not a problem at all. The controls are really good. Especially the nunchuck feels great. I'm not that crazy about the Wiimote yet, but it's not awful to use or anything.

Fantastic game. You'll enjoy it. I finished all of the campaign and the dlc. The next piece of dlc comes out on Tuesday, it's called Reefer Madness. Can't wait. I hope they do more dlc afterwards.

Got Borderlands for £10 yesterday so just starting to play that. Makes me think of Fallout.

ive been taking advantage of the steam sales and tring to catch up on some of the videogames ive missed whilst not having a decent PC

i also got half life 2 deathmatch, half life source, all the hexen games, l4d2 (which i am super impressed by graphics wise, i have been playing it on xbox for a few years and i didnt think it could possibly look this much better holy wow)

i likd the first NWN a lot but i couldnt find a good server / module on the 2nd one when i had it for a couple months a while a go , i am trying again

lol...im like that right now in new vegas...it turns into a bunch of fetch quests after a while. i remedy this by playing vgames once a day if that, and then only for an hour or so...helps keep it fresh

some of the areas in new vegas are really fucking cool though...and the ambient pieces are great (THOUGH THEY ARENT ON THE FUCKING SOUNDTRACK UGHH)

Dungeon Seige 3, traded in Dead Rising 2 and a few others to get it. Not a bad game, but I'm glad I didn't pay $60 for it.

A friend and I have started playing Sacred 2 again. My God, I'd forgotten how complicated that game is

i grabbed the demo and the co-op was online co-op.

i'm still playing through just cause 2 which is the worst game i've ever played for more than 5 hours. the sniper rifle infuriates me by missing the target despite being a direct hit 10 times and then the other sniper sees me and shoots me in 1 shot. i had to stop then for fear of fredmcgriffing my controller

If you're looking for a good AOE I suggest you stick with AOE 2 : Conquerors expansion. Any later in the series I have had and never got on with. I think it's about the same with COC. The early ones were good and in a way like AOE but they aren't a match. I think the later ones just went right downhill, going by the reviews.

One other strategy which I did play for a while was Rise of Nations: Gold edition. The closest thing to AOE that I've gver stuck with.

But now I've got fucking Windows 7 and can't play my old ones. I could get the newest ones but feel I won't be impressed and they'll last 5 minutes. If they re-released AOE 2 for the Windows 7 I'd be one happy man.

I did get Freeciv but didn't do an awful lot before I never went back.

Maybe I'll have another stab at it.

i should mention i'm looking for the ps3. can't stand playing games on a pc as i sit at one all day.

Ah, that's too bad - the game is getting better and better as I go through it.

As for RTS action, have you looked at Comet Crash or Greed Corp?

There's also Gatling Gears, which was made by the makers of Greed Corp...

I picked up Battlefield Bad Company 2 on steam for 5 bucks. I never thought I would be able to run it on my PC so I never got it when it came out. It runs pretty good after all, and is quite a good multiplayer game.
