GTA4. I hate how you can't save right before a mission, so if you die you've got to spend another 15 minutes in transit all over again. Fuck that. It doesn't help that I can never resist the urge to mow over pedestrians, crash as many vehicles as possible and generally wreak havoc everywhere I go. There's usually 2 or 3 police chases between my safe house and my destination. What's odd is that I'll run over 100 civilians without batting an eye (I like to drive on the sidewalks), but if I gun down one random pedestrian I'm wracked with guilt. Funny how desensitization works.

Hmmmm... when you die or fail a message you should receive a text message that lets you restart the mission instantly.

Yeah, you can also take taxis pretty much instantly anywhere in the game for a small fee of virtual money.

this sounds like an airplane landing on a minefield

maybe I missed it, but can someone tell me what games Sony is offering for PSN users?

Ive decided that since I tore up my card on file I should be ok, but Im still plenty pissed at them. If they are decent games I spose Ill dl them and then play offline for the rest of eternity.

I have both infamous and little big planet. Both are great games, I would say both are worth getting. If you had to pick one of the 2 I would go with infamous, just because little big planet, even with all the millions of brilliant user levels and the charm tends to feel a bit samey and the platforming physics just feel a little bit annoying and I can't get over that, i just lost motivation to keep playing the game. Infamous is really a great game, it is basically just a really fun comic-book style superhero game, just fucking fun, can't explain it any better. Game length is decent and there are lots of side missions and you can play it as either evil or good with different powers and storyline depending on your decisions during missions.

Since I have the two I still can't decide what else to get, I just checked out super stardust HD and it looks awesome, but so does wipeout, but so does dead nation.

playing la noire and witcher 2 simultaneously. la noire is awesome so far (played 11 of the 21 story missions), but i can't say it has the film noir feel i was expecting, since most of the missions so far takes place during the daytime.

witcher 2 seems cool too, though i've no idea what's going on since i never played the first one, but im gonna keep at it since i haven't played a good fantasy rpg since dragon age: origins.

Witcher 2, 4-5 hours in. Story became clear pretty fast.

Good: audio & visuals (best looking RPG right now), story seems pretty good, voice acting, nipples!, cool monsters.

Bad: controls feel terrible at times, some bad game design like the use of the amulet to detect loot and a frustrating targeting system, very irritating if you're a compulsive looter.

I'm also finishing up on Braid, never finished it after my Xbox 360 died. Just a few pieces to go. The new game by Jonathan Blow The Witness has a development blog. Looks amazing.

Wow, the graphics are starting to look a LOT better than the prototype graphics were.

Just completed L.A. Noire. Holy fuck i love Rockstar Games. I have spent every single freetime hour i've had on it since i brought it. Just couldn't stop playing it. It is like crack (just like what RDR was to me, when it came out).

want to play Infamous so bad but no PS3, I'll settle for Prototype

It's not that good. Repetitive missions, soso-graphics, the powers get old fast and the story and noir-theme seem forced. To me anyway.

I bought the game about two weeks before Sony released it for free. FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUU-
