puzzle games usually dont have replay value unleess its like 30 yrs later and u forget everything

??????????

i played computer minsweper and sudoku like a 100 times

Finished Dead Space. That last boss was cool but a bit too easy with a maxed out Contact Beam. Still fun though!

And the sound design remained superb throughout. The game still managed to scare me tons of times. I don't think it's just about startling the player either, the placement of the monsters was very well thought through. It was never obvious, many times I found myself slowly moving along some corridor, focusing on some suspicious looking vent, but not a single time a monster jumped out of the vent I was expecting it to. Instead it would just drop from the ceiling a few meters before the vent or something like that. And despite being a very loud and hectic kind of game at times, it managed to be incredibly atmospheric even with all the gray metal machinery design stuff. The lighting was well done, the sound was great like I said, the music was also great (and not at all as repetitive as Yahtzee said), even the story was half decent, and I didn't expect it to be in a game like this. So all in all it was well worth the ~20 bucks I paid for it, and I'm looking forward to Dead Space 2.

Just finished VVVVVV (awesome game!) and my brother just got me into Terraria... I think I'll be playing this exclusively for AWHILE!

limbo looks awesome, but it's not the kind of game i'd want to play on my pc, and i really can't be bothered with my 360 right now, haven't turned it on for atleast 6 months. is it coming to ps3?

just started playing borderlands again, thought i'd give it another chance since i stopped playing it like 2 years ago. it's fun, but the total randomness of the weapons / mods etc is a bit annoying.

its already released for ps3, steam, xbox and there is a port to os x aswell

I've been grabbing a chopper in BF:BC2 on the Heavy Metal map and ejecting over a wind turbine as a sniper. Seeing how long I last. Can rack up some kills if the server has killcam turned off (which I prefer).

Please tell me you're not one of those people that flies it up there by themselves and then just lets it crash....

Fucking hate those people

dude u know what i mean the linear puzzle games that arent randomly generated like braid and ilomilo and portal and stuff like that

they are usually the funest games EVER but you can only play them once cuz the next time you already know all the solutions so ur just going by memorry and its not fun or rewarding

Yea, it's tough... but I never got TOO frustrated with it. Awesome game design! And you feel damn satisfied when passing an area that gives you trouble (especially getting all the trinkets).

LOL. I do that, but the server I play on has insta-spawn vehicles. If there is someone else in the chopper I tell them what I'm doing so they can hit F1 and take control when I bail.

limbo is incredible. most atmospheric game i've ever played.

Martin Stig Andersen - Limbo (2010)

Artist's name: Martin Stig Andersen

Artist's origin: Denmark

Release title: Limbo

Release type: Game Soundtrack

Release date: Never officially released

Record label: -

Genre: Ambient

Subgenres: Dark Ambient, Drone Ambient

Description: Limbo is a puzzle-platform video game and the premiere title of independent Danish game developer Playdead Studios. The game was released in July 2010 on Xbox Live Arcade. Limbo is a 2D sidescroller, incorporating a physics system that governs environmental objects and the player character. The player guides an unnamed boy through dangerous environments and traps as the boy searches for his sister. The developer built the game's puzzles expecting the player to fail before finding the correct solution. Playdead called the style of play "trial and death", and used visually gruesome imagery for the boy's deaths to steer the player from unworkable solutions.

Note: This soundtrack was never officially released, though it was uploaded to YouTube and is free for listening now.
