im 5 hours in and It's phenomenal. Great atmosphere, voice acting, art direction, and gameplay is solid. Shooting and stealth work well, missions are well-set up... definitely worth sixty bones.

I finally beat Megaman 1 (and 8) today! I feel like this is my life's ultimate achievement after sooooo many retries!

the thing that REALLY pissed me off about VVVVV, amazing as it is, is that it stores your save files in the flash cache directory. TWICE i did a cclean and erased all my progress.

That's weird, mine is stored in C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\VVVVVV\Saves\

EDIT: Ahhh, there's an online version of this game isn't there .... That explains that ! Get the offline version, and your saves will be erm, saved !

Strangely enough, Mega Man 1 is the only MM game I've never beaten (aside from the MM.exe games that I've never played)...

Awesome, I love games with good atmosphere. Are you finding the console experience of DE3 good though? I've tried to avoid playing fpses on consoles up until now

I've read that the game looks a little better on PC, but it's still immersive enough that the graphics don't bother me. The art style more than makes up for that (though the game still looks damn good, just not LA Noire good). The controls are a super subjective thing... I quite like controllers, preferring them to mouse an keyboard, but i do think some of the controls are awkward on 360 (L is cover, right stick is scope, left stick is crouch, LB is sprint... and they can't be changed.)

I thought for once you guys wouldn't be playing shitty games. Nope, I come here and find most of the last page a VVVVVV discussion.

It's by far one of the hardest MM games... and unlike all the others. So many memorably experiences...

Yeah once I remembered I had to beat that boss in the final stage, I was about to give up. I got used to Rock Monster more quickly than I thought in fact. Once you understand its pattern, everything is cool. Rock Monster is way easier in Megaman 8 though.

I loved The Green Devil in MM 8 - I love the squishy jello sounds he makes as you pulverize back the jelly to get to his robotic eye in the centre...

You can get the Japanese PS1 Rockman on PSN in their Japanese Imports section... by far the best version of MM1.

I got the platinum for Borderlands. It's such a good game! Will be doing the dlc now, as i got the GOTY edition. I did a bit of Mad Moxxie's Underdome, but it's gonna take a while before i beat it entirely, cause there are 3 arena's, each have 20 rounds with 5 waves for each round. That's 100 waves per arena! So 300 waves in total! That gold trophy will be well earned.

God of War Collection Volume 2: Origins is out in a few weeks. I'll be getting that for sure.

I'm thinking whether I should pick up Deus Ex: Human Revolution or not. It got great reviews and lots of people say it's awesome. We'll see...

resistance 3 looks like so much fun, and it's out in a week from now, can't wait.

I never understood why people we're so crazy about Trials HD. I hated it.... whatabitch of a game.

And what I've heard from previews, Trials Evolution is going to be just as hard, ugh.
