Video Games What video games are you currently playing?

I've been returning to Just Cause 2 again. Such a fun game. Technically impressive as well. I just wish they refined the flight and driving controls a bit more.

I'm going back and trying to get the platinum for LA Noire. I just completed all the street crimes last night. Now I've gotta find all the film reels and vehicles.

My stack of unfinished games is ridiculous at this point.

I may do the unthinkable and start with Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2.

Been playing SuperStardust HD... in 3D! Freaking amazing. It's like a whole new game with the er, added dimension!

Just finished Half Life 2. Damn, it's no doubt the best game I've ever played. Really hard to believe it was realeased in 2004.

Just started playing Deus Ex. It seems pretty good so far. Was pissed off that I did something wrong and couldn't go back to sort out my mistake.

Playing the first one now. Playing with Alyx is much more fun than alone.

Got the platinum for LA Noire! I'm off now to finish Mass Effect 2.

I'm about to start Mass Effect 2. Got a free download for pre-ordering BF3 so I'm currently DLing ME2. Anything I should know before I start? never played the first one so I have no idea what to expect

i never played the first one and thought it was a massively great game.

if you can, play the prequel comic or w/e, i think that's free? lets you set up the game so you made the better choices in the first game and tells you the whole story.

other than that, fuck an alien. more fun that way.

OK, so I'm not gonna finish ME2 right now. Instead, I'm gonna try to platinum Dragon Age 2. It seems achievable.

Read up on the first one via the comic or Wikipedia or something. Just so you know who is who etc...... or maybe just do it along the way.

I just finished the first one, playing Opposite Force now. The story makes no sense, it's a giant plot hole, but damn it's the best solo fps I've ever played

I never played Opposing Force, I remember Blue Shift being pretty good though ....

weird, just started Blue Shift on hard.. and it's looking like the best method is just to run by all enemies. it's like a different game at this level.

speaking of HL, it's frustrating as hell meeting someone who says they know fps's and hasn't played it. i guess a lot of ppl played doom and stuff and chalk them up to simple shoot-everything-that-moves style. i keep telling him to pleeease check it out. ahhggg

portal 2 is brilliant.

deus ex has a good, resonating story but the gameplay is rather conservative, it gets very repetitive towards the end, the hubs are lifeless and so on.
