I think it looks like a very pretty FPS Dead Rising minus all the fun.

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

I already beat Mass Effect 2. We pretty cool, did as many side quests as I could unlock.

Now back to waiting for BF3...

Great game. I beat it on my xbox360 but I'm going to be playing the third on my ps3, so I believe I am going to need to at least do 1 more play through, probably with the sniper class.

Did you get a perfect ending?

No idea what that entails. I'm guessing no, since I argued with the Illusive Man @ the end because I

. This is definitely a game to play through a few times given that you can change your "class" for different play styles, plus make different decisions etc. I might play it some more, but I took advantage of the 3 day weekend (and the sudden cancellation of the Chicago Rephlex show) to play through the game since I got it for free for pre-ordering BF3 through Origin.

Ohmy, that's worse than Oblivion. :D I'm going to try before I buy with this one...

Edit: it appears you can't go into third person mode normally though. So it is excusable. :)

yeah, it actually looks pretty cool to me. That's the dev mode "press 'y' to noclip!" and they fucked up. Looks like a fun game though, it is supposedly more of an RPG than a first person shooter. Supposedly it is pretty fun and addicting, just a little rough around the edges.

right now I am playing batman AA. What a fun game this is, much better than I expected by playing the demo (which was fun, but doesn't even begin to show the scope and awesomeness of the game). Great fucking game, not something you usually get from a movie/comic/superhero franchise game. So much detail and so many game modes.

Another hugely detailed game I picked up is assassin's creed brotherhood, which I haven't played yet but looks pretty cool. Hopefully it lives up to the experience I had with AC2, which was one of the most amazing gaming experiences I've had lately.

AC: B is amazing. One of the best games I've played in a long time. Don't miss out on the multiplayer either - unique, difficult and very, very fun (and frustrating).

Does anybody have any experience with Metro 33? It's a game I always look at when browsing and have been half meaning to pick it up. Any good?

Metro 33 is alright from what I played. Apparently some developers from STALKER worked on it so it has a similar feel but less open ended. Reformatted and lost my save so didn't replay after that. another game to add to the list of FPS i haven't completed. same thing happened with Crysis 2

looking for something different though, might give Mirrors Edge a play through when I find time

Good friend of mine brought her Wii along with "Calling", we hooked it up to my other friend's projector and ... well, it was a piece of shit.

Friend got kinda mad at me for constantly mocking the shit out of the game but I'm sorry, it was the least scary thing with ridiculous PS1-graphic-ghosts, rubbish sound design and voice acting. Not even worth downloading, I don't know how she could get scared of such a silly japanese whoogaboogah.

Devil May Cry 4

You brave, brave soul.

I got half way through that game, and then you are basically told to walk all the way back to the beginning, fighting the same bosses, only they are harder. Plus that techno guitar music that plays EVERY time you enter battle began to aggrivate me.

why is sneaking in to the Detroit Police Station (it being one of your first real missions) the hardest shit ever? I didn't talk the guy in to it at the desk..so I figured I would try to sneak in, which seemed a bit more fun any how. I don't have nearly enough Praxis points to make my hacking skill any higher, and everything in there is like lvl 3 security. I am tranquilizing as many people as I can and hiding bodies in vents etc, but there are soooo many cops, and getting to the morgue is insane. I went the fire escape route to sneak in, btw.. not the sewers. FFFFFFUUUUUU. The load screens take forever too.

through the years, a man peoples a space with images of provinces, kingdoms, mountains, bays, ships, islands, fishes, rooms, tools, stars, horses and people. shortly before his death, he discovers that the patient labyrinth of lines traces the image of his own face.

man yeah it is, well sorta. the game's beta is out.

it's buggy as fuck, tripwire's sorting out some big issues atm..

regardless of the game crashing every 20 minutes and my pretty nice PC struggling to maintain FPS

i can't stop playing it at all.. like a crack addict going back for more over and over and over.

honestly man, this is taking RO to a whole new level,

and it's going to ruin BF3 for me.. there's just not a shooter that exists like this one.

tripwire's really made something special this time man.

I still can't get over how good Batman is. I honestly thought I was going to be short and linear and not as good as people were saying, just based on the demo version.

I'm glad I got it instead of dead space 2. I really am enjoying it. I like the riddler challenges and just the way it makes you think, like how am I going to take out these 7 guards with guns. I like that I can solve puzzles in between battles and exploring and that every time I do puzzles, get collectables, etc. I am also getting XP which I can use towards upgrades, don't have to fight to get XP. Now I am definitely excited about the new one coming out. I'll definitely replay it on hard once I beat it.

if you didn't know there's a patch out that speeds up the loading times considerably.

If you're going sneaky, you really have to upgrade hacking with your first few points, then grab the invisibility and double takedown, makes the game super easy. If you go through the sewers, it puts you one room away from the morgue, and there's only one cop who will stop by in that locker room you enter in. I actually found the sewer entrance by accident, too, just dicking around.

Also, take the punch through walls augment super quickly; you'll find praxis points hidden behind some breakable walls (Which are automatically highlighted when you have the augment)... there are 2 in the Detroit sewers.

I just finished Shadows of the Damned and took a look at my unopened Red Dead Redemption, Mass effect 2 and L.A. Noir, thought about finishing assasins creed 2, ended up downloading and playing Deadly Premonition. Flol at the graphics and controls. I still like it though. a lot.

So difficult to complete it on hard once you get to the chained-up brutes. You'll get as far as the elevator showdown and break your controller.

Anyone playing Dead Island yet? My girlfriend's going to LA for a week, so I can get some serious gaming time in. It's gonna be Portal 2 or Dead Island.

Thanks for the advice - think i may actually go back to an earlier save as I'm routinely getting my ass handed to me - spent my upgrades on jump (good investment) and "quiet running" which has been of limited use (thusfar) plus punch through walls (somewhat useful) and basic stealth radar upgrade (meh?). Seems like, at the beginning of the game at any rate, choosing the "right" augments are key unless you want to get super frustrated. Which is where I am with the game right now. Spent an hour yesterday on the same room trying all sorts of different tactics but a)all terminals too high of security for me to hack b)not enough ammo/space in my suit for ammo c)just too many guards/cameras/mechs to get by without setting off an alarm

Picked up Deus Ex: HR. I'm playing on Give Me Deus Ex difficulty so yeah, it's really hard in some spots. It's such a good game so far though. I'm having trouble stopping playing it. I was up until 2am last night playing it.
