Cos if it's the latter, even though I'm about 95% sure I'm going to be deeply disappointed by this, I might just grudgingly bite on this. The vinyl version, that is, which is more expensive. At the very least, it's minimal to the point where it would be really fun to have on vinyl just for the sake of scratching.

I'll order from Bleep; I don't really care when the physical release gets here (as long as it does) if I can get wavs for my hard drive and mp3s for my iPod on release day.

I'd probably waste the shipping $ on gas driving down the 101/Sunset to get to Amoeba anyway, and I don't know any other place that would be likely to stock it immediately.

I'm pretty skint right now but 10 and some change for close to an hour of Autechre, even if it's not prime stuff, doesn't strike me as any kind of raw deal or grounds for complaint given their track record with EPs.

They released the Oversteps downloads early (but still long after the date they started taking pre-orders) because it leaked; I think standard practice is to release the downloads on release day. If they do decide to release early, they'll notify the pre-orders.

That was with shipping included... cd was $9.99 and shipping was $2.70 or something. I was pleasantly surprised!

final total was $26 i believe for both vinyl + 24bit wavs

pretty not bad.. liked this a lot better than all of Oversteps.
