You said he put los angelas on the map, I said he did not. Nothing to do with influence. He did not create the scene, he may have added to it sure.

And in this interview hudmo says that he never really saw himself intertwined in the mainstream hiphop / rnb scene, but now he is in the position to with lunice so fuckit.

Do you want me to call you up and read it to you too Tokn ?

com'on, it's internet, loose your anger. i just wanted to read the interview about HudMo and Lunice. so thanks for the link!

Check my dusty tunes and mixes over here: https://soundcloud.com/2kn

Decent interview. I dunno, I'm not convinced he's an asshole at all. My personal guess is that he's all pissy and maybe stoned in certain interviews, and sometimes he's chill as hell. He definitely comes off differently all the time on twitter. Meh I dunno

That erykah badoo single kinda sucks to me on my first listens she's just all over the track

Still high hopes for this release, bring it on!

I'm hardly a closed minded nun. Remember, I'm on a fucking IDM forum.... an IDM forum.. Think about that for a second before claiming people are closed minded nuns.

not feeling the badu track much, nor the track with odd future. I'm sure I'll still listen to this album 500% more than most things released this year.

Love his music,so many Ideas.Anyway why is pitchfork allowed to post this Video with so much use of drugs in it ? Isn´t it dangerous for Flylo ?

I can't believe how much love there is for his la album. hailed as awesome and creative where I found it boring and derivative. cosmogramma grabbed me but I hated how it felt like snippets. I hope the new one isn't cosmogramma part 2.

exactly.. i hope he keeps pushing his sound.. but i'm scared he won't and he (and his audience) is comfortable with what he already has. well, we'll see! i'm excited

Kavinsky, he lives in California weeds doesn't get you in trouble there afaik..

Nah, you're a wee child who can't wait for official release. Embarrassing. Shove your privilege.

I think he has a medicinal marijuana license in Cali, but yeah I wonder the same thing. They've had other videos of people smoking weed. I guess, with maybe a few exceptions with certain people and in certain areas, it's not something to worry about legally. For instance in Austin people get arrested for possession everyday yet during the annual reggae festival I've seen people practically next to cops openly smoking out of pipes and small bongs. If I smoked regularly I wouldn't hide it, but I would avoid any camera documentation of me doing it until it's actually decriminalized.

that underwater still above would have been a much better album cover.

Does anyone know what this is all about, and if it's legit? Seems to be very little info out there and no acknowledgement of it through official channels (unless I missed something).

I remember a few months ago some dude put up an album on bandcamp supposedly produced by Madlib (whether it really was or not I don't remember), then a few days later it was taken down.

Sounds more like a mashup, as the beats sound like tracks FL has already released. "High" is particularly obvious.

it's a misuse of the term collaboration that's for sure.

It also lists the tracks used in the video... sounds really nice so far!
