I like it.

I like the toned back style. It makes for nice background groovy music. I also imagine it may be a good soundtrack for a psychedelic trip(mmmay have to look into this).

I also had a big grin on my face during the detuned beat driven samiyam-style track that follows the Thom Yorke vocal track. I would've been happy if the album took a complete uturn at that point and turned into a beat driven hip hop second half of the album. But it stayed in jazz ridden cosmo-territory, which I guess is fine too^^

again, i don't really hate skrillex as much as i hate the people that think that sort of music has any sort of integrity. i try to be open minded, and a lot of the time i employ a "well, each to his/her own" attitude towards personal preferences such as music taste and who knows, maybe it is original in its own way, sorta like a drawing by an autistic kid.

I don't get how some of you are calling this boring.. On first listen this album is ACE.

These tunes are spaced out and pared back, which to me is a treat since I found Cosmogramma to be slightly-schitzo. Wonderfully detailed and chilled is my impression

I'm gonna hold out for the actual physical release on this one. That video for Putty Boy Strut is awesome! Love the style... track was pretty cool, too. From what you guys are saying I'm actually excited for the album... a slower-paced, more chilled out version of Cosmogramma sounds excellent! Cosmo is awesome and totally insane in parts, but it would be nice to have a slower album from FlyLo.

I don't think it's slower as much as it felt very linear and sketchy instead if fleshed out

oh this is is really beautiful. Exactly what I hoped for. Quite reduced in production and to the point. I really like that. Perfect late summer release

i love the return of some of those pattern grid world synths and is that some autechre influence i hear at the end of 'only if you wanna'?

Much better than I expected. Some tracks in the middle of the LP are so trippy and unusual sounding, I really need to sink in this again. Also, the artwork makes much more sense now.

Humm wow I think this is a grower.

i hope so. im waiting for a better quality.

i appreciate warp screwing me on the cosmogramma pre-order. thanks for making me not preorder this time.

These latest comments have renewed my interest, I really wasn't bothered about it before. As much as I liked Cosmo initially I haven't found myself going back to it much.

Heave(n) > Tiny Tortures > All the Secrets is a fucking incredible series of tracks. Im sippin a cup of coffee to this record (my drug of choice these days.. I can only imaging how this album sounds after some greens, but Im traveling) and the subtleties really shine.

What the fuck is up with the track "feat. Thom Yorke".. did he just help with the production, or are those background vocals in the latter half him. I mean its a good track on its own but hardly deserves the featuring status that they plaster all over the album promotion.

Also.. sorry to those who are waiting, that Im talking about a leak as though the album is out.. If Im waiting for the actual release, I sort of hate when others do that.. :emb:

Yeah I'm out of this thread. Too many spoilerz

it was a "special edition with a print:

i got my cd about 10 days after it was released and the print was a bent postcard all for about $20.

i should have stolen it. or downloaded it day of release for half the price.

i wonder why record companies are struggling these days

I think the 'special art print' warp promotion kind of passed into legend as one of the daftest ripoffs ever. It was a postcard ffs. these days I almost go out of my way to avoid getting stuff through bleep unless there's no other option.

That said, the cosmogramma vinyl is quite nice, gave it another spin the other day. Would have saved me a few quid to get it from norman records instead though...

Getting There is a brilliant track. Loving the album. Can't wait for better quality. Hope my local store gets this in once its released.
